The Friday pickets of the Colombian Embassy in London have been suspended awaiting outcome of negotiations between the farmers’ platform and the government.

 


 

Support Farmers Strike in Colombia

Vigil outside the Colombian Embassy every Friday from 3pm - 6pm. 3 Hans Crescent, Knightsbridge tube (behind Harrods).

In agreement with the Colombian activists, we in Solidarity Campaign are holding a public meeting on the topic, showing English sub-titled film of rice farmers. This will be Tuesday 17 September 7pm prompt at Finfuture, 225 - 229 Seven Sisters Road, London N4 2DA. (Finsbury Park tube)

Colombia Solidarity supports the Marikana campaign with particular reference to the London/ Johannesburg axis of mega mining corporations leading the assault in Colombia and globally. We urge our supporters to show solidarity with African brothers and sisters on the frontline against mining exploitation. An injury to one is an injury to all!
