On 22 November President Santos was in London to promote British investment in Colombia. We went to the London School of Economics (LSE) to greet him, and to express our opposition to the big mining 'locomotive' and free trade agreements, given that they only bring misery and poverty.  The only ones who will benefit from foreign investment will be the multinationals and Colombian oligarchy. We also called for a full investigation of the false positives scandal (with at least 1,200 victims assassinated by the army) that occurred when Santos was Minister of Defence.

Then we formed a flying picket to make a second protest outside the famous Lord Mayor's Mansion House in the City of London.

The protests were organised by the Colombia Solidarity Campaign with Movimiento 22, Polo Democratico UK, LAWAS, LSE UCU branch and the afro-colombian music group Chambimbe expressing real Colombia.

Meanwhile, official Colombia continues to ignore the reality of its dirty war. Inside the LSE Santos joked about re-election.
